Our Story

KIVARI was officially founded in 2014 by Kirstin Keysers known to many as Kiki.

The brand was created from a passion of adventurous travel and connection to our oceans. Known for its distinctive aesthetic of effortless and versatile silhouettes, we consciously create quality pieces with integrity and heart. Utilising natural fibres and alternative manufacturing methods to balance our operations with mother nature.

The KIVARI woman is strong yet feminine. She is adventurous and confident in the way she moves. She expresses herself through clothing that provokes a world of endless possibilities.

Today, KIVARI has 16 stores across Australia, Noosa Heads, Fortitude Valley, Indooroopilly, Pacific Fair, Burleigh Heads, Byron Bay, Freshwater, Mosman, Castle Towers, Sydney Central Plaza, Bondi Junction, Bondi Beach, Miranda, Burnside, Chadstone and Subiaco, alongside a global digital presence and a curated network of premium retail partners worldwide.

KIVARI HQ is located in Rosebery on Gadigal land. Our team is made up of mothers, best friends, sisters, daughters and community leaders. Our core values of integrity, courage, passion and community make our tribe of creatives unstoppable.

As a fashion label, we know our impact on the environment hasn’t always been a positive one, but we are committed to continuously looking for ways to minimise our footprint. Which is why we created an inhouse sustainability role at HQ so that along with the basics, like recycling and using KeepCups, we’re consistently making changes that really matter.

From looking at how we can be more eco-conscious at HQ to our supply chain, the life cycle of our garments, design process and our transparency with customers (because you’re part of our journey too), our sustainability manager is our pledge to better look after the world we live in.
